My passion for personal training and nutrition began when I worked as a researcher in cardiovascular medicine. Many patients were instructed to exercise and eat better but didn’t know where to start. So I founded AP Wellness to guide and support people who want to feel better and live healthier. AP Wellness offers personal training and nutrition services in San Francisco, but I also have online services that individuals can benefit from nationwide.

what is nutrition coaching?

A nutrition coach will help you make better food choices to meet your health goals. Nutrition coaching does not include meal planning to manage specific health conditions like diabetes. With AP Wellness’s nutrition services, I will educate you on the components of a healthy diet, share recipe collections, and offer behavior modification techniques that will prevent you from falling back into old habits.

I provide sample meal plans with recommendations for meals and snacks based on your fitness goals, budget, and food preferences. AP Wellness’s nutrition coaching services are available with personal training or as a standalone service. I can also partner with your doctor to support your overall wellness.

AP Wellness will never prescribe a fad diet or promise immediate results, because real change takes time and effort. Instead, based on your height, weight, and activity, I will calculate the appropriate carbs, proteins, and fat levels to include in your diet. Together, we will monitor your sleep, hunger, and energy throughout the week and adjust these macronutrient numbers as needed.

As a pre- and post-natal fitness specialist, I would love to partner with your family care doctor to ensure that you and your little one are getting the necessary nutrients to promote healthy development. In addition, as a new mom, I understand you have limited time to meal prep, so I will help you find quick and easy recipes that meet your dietary needs.
