personal training for all fitness levels

Best Personal Training in San Francisco

As a personal trainer in San Fransisco, I provide individualized programming focused on your fitness and lifestyle needs. You may find it easy to stay active during San Francisco summers when the weather is nice, and you can visit local parks and trails. But what happens when the weather turns cold and rainy, and you lose motivation to go on a morning jog?

At AP Wellness Training & Consulting, I can help you create a new workout routine (indoors or out) that provides the results that you’re looking for. Whether you want to improve form, lose weight, build muscle, or prepare for an athletic competition, I can create a science-based workout and nutrition plan designed specifically for YOU.

Personal Training that Fits Your Lifestyle

I work to keep my services accessible by offering online and in-person personal training. Online personal training allows me to work with individuals nationwide but also San Francisco residents who can’t make the commute to the gym. New parents often struggle to make time for their fitness since it can be challenging to coordinate childcare. Schedule a session during nap time to invest in your health and emotional wellness.

In-person training sessions at CrossFit Golden Gate allow you to interact with like-minded people and use top-of-the-line fitness equipment. Online personal training can be limited by the space and equipment that you have available. In-person training with AP Wellness Training & Consulting provides a distraction-free environment, social accountability, and the opportunity to take on new challenges at every session.

Best of all, you can see results from personal training with just a single weekly session. Spend one hour with me and then exercise on your own when it’s convenient for you. Or, for additional accountability, schedule 2-3 weekly sessions.

how personal
training works

Before we begin, I will guide you through an intake interview to discuss your current fitness level and your goals for working together. Then, during our first session, I will evaluate your strength and endurance levels so that I create workouts that will challenge you while keeping you safe. Each session will last one hour and include power, conditioning, and strength training exercises.

Meet me at my gym in San Francisco or complete online training from your home or the gym of your choice. You can contact me and access custom nutritional advice between sessions through a health app called Trainerize. You’ll will also receive:

I understand that there are no quick fixes when it comes to fitness and nutrition.

02.

certifications

I am a certified physical trainer through CrossFit and the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I am committed to continuing my education and being the best at my craft. You can find a complete list of my certifications in my bio.

03.

To have a positive personal training experience, you need to trust and respect your fitness coach. You need to feel comfortable following their advice and accepting new challenges. If we don’t mesh well during the intake interview and initial session, I encourage you to find a trainer you enjoy working with.

fitness resources

Are you looking for ways to level up your fitness journey? In addition to offering personal training and nutrition coaching, I am committed to providing fitness resources to help you meet your goals. At least twice a month, I create blogs with fitness advice, exercise ideas, nutrition tips, and more. I am passionate about helping individuals who want to improve their health but don’t know where to start, regardless of whether they are currently a client. Personal Training FAQs

It will depend on your availability and individual fitness goals. You should exercise 2-3 times a week to see the best results, but you can complete some workouts independently. One session per week may be enough if you are highly motivated and can hold yourself accountable. Then you can take what you’ve learned and implement it throughout the rest of the week.

Again, it will depend on what you are trying to accomplish and if you’re able to continue your fitness plan on your own once you finish training. It usually takes 3-6 months to see significant results. Check out my blog for more information on this topic.

No. If you are interested in online training services, I will plan my sessions around what you have available. Over time, I may recommend additional equipment to help you meet your goals, but it’s not mandatory for an effective workout. We’ll use the equipment in San Francisco CrossFit’s gym for in-person training.
