As a personal trainer in San Fransisco, I provide individualized programming focused on your fitness and lifestyle needs. You may find it easy to stay active during San Francisco summers when the weather is nice, and you can visit local parks and trails. But what happens when the weather turns cold and rainy, and you lose motivation to go on a morning jog?
At AP Wellness Training & Consulting, I can help you create a new workout routine (indoors or out) that provides the results that you’re looking for. Whether you want to improve form, lose weight, build muscle, or prepare for an athletic competition, I can create a science-based workout and nutrition plan designed specifically for YOU.
I work to keep my services accessible by offering online and in-person personal training. Online personal training allows me to work with individuals nationwide but also San Francisco residents who can’t make the commute to the gym. New parents often struggle to make time for their fitness since it can be challenging to coordinate childcare. Schedule a session during nap time to invest in your health and emotional wellness.
In-person training sessions at CrossFit Golden Gate allow you to interact with like-minded people and use top-of-the-line fitness equipment. Online personal training can be limited by the space and equipment that you have available. In-person training with AP Wellness Training & Consulting provides a distraction-free environment, social accountability, and the opportunity to take on new challenges at every session.
Best of all, you can see results from personal training with just a single weekly session. Spend one hour with me and then exercise on your own when it’s convenient for you. Or, for additional accountability, schedule 2-3 weekly sessions.
Before we begin, I will guide you through an intake interview to discuss your current fitness level and your goals for working together. Then, during our first session, I will evaluate your strength and endurance levels so that I create workouts that will challenge you while keeping you safe. Each session will last one hour and include power, conditioning, and strength training exercises.
Meet me at my gym in San Francisco or complete online training from your home or the gym of your choice. You can contact me and access custom nutritional advice between sessions through a health app called Trainerize. You’ll will also receive:

Whether you decide to work with another San Francisco personal trainer or me, make sure to evaluate your potential trainer in these four areas:
01.
I have a Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Irvine, and a certification in BioDesign from Stanford University. My background in medical research allows me to create workout plans grounded in science that will lead to lasting results. I understand that there are no quick fixes when it comes to fitness and nutrition.
02.
I am a certified physical trainer through CrossFit and the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I am committed to continuing my education and being the best at my craft. You can find a complete list of my certifications in my bio.
03.
I am fully insured, so we are both protected in case of an accident or injury. I always remain alert, however, to ensure that we are being as safe as possible during every exercise.
04.
To have a positive personal training experience, you need to trust and respect your fitness coach. You need to feel comfortable following their advice and accepting new challenges. If we don’t mesh well during the intake interview and initial session, I encourage you to find a trainer you enjoy working with.
Again, it will depend on what you are trying to accomplish and if you’re able to continue your fitness plan on your own once you finish training. It usually takes 3-6 months to see significant results. Check out my blog for more information on this topic.
No. If you are interested in online training services, I will plan my sessions around what you have available. Over time, I may recommend additional equipment to help you meet your goals, but it’s not mandatory for an effective workout. We’ll use the equipment in San Francisco CrossFit’s gym for in-person training.
